What Are Standing Stones of Witness?

Stellas have writing on them, and estella is there to tell the story of the conquest. But a standing stone has no writing on it. It's supposed to stick out like a sore thumb. They're called stones of witness because at some point you have to tell the stories. One of the tings i find in our culture is we could do a better job of passing on the stories of god working in our lives to our children. We don't have anything in our life that sticks out, that makes our kids look at us and say, what's that all about?
