The Cold Open

The cold open screws up the pacing of the movie because we're 17 minutes into the movie before we're done teaser teaser. When Diana walks into the Smithsonian that's when we're really in setup mode. So yeah the mall is awesome as it is not story. And I think I think this is where we get our first kind of screenwriting lesson like people make fun of the save the cats the world and stuff because they say page 12 that's the catalyst. That's why on page 12, you're supposed to put the catalyst now whether the page 12 it happens or page 15. This is what you see an amateur screenplays and ones that typically don't work for pacing or independent ones
