He Was a Staunch Defender of the Truth
He was a staunch defender of the truth and helped and pride that above pretty much everything. Even if these accusations had never happened, he still would have had a negative reputation among many Australians or certainly among the media types in Australia. He defended marriage and sexual morality through the influx of things like IVF and embryonic stem cell search and everything like that. And so there were protests always followed his eminence in that way but only because he was a speaker of thetruth and a great defender of faith.
