Why Jesus Was Crucified

i am reminded that we have almost never seen followers of jesus actually do things that he asked his followers to do. N in fact, there's a strong argument to be made for the fact that one of the main reasons jesus was crucified in the first place was because he didn't meet the standards. And as a result, barabbas, the arm insurrectionist, was elevated in his place. This is just part of the historical record that we get from the gospels.
