The Central Doctrine of the Romantic Movement

The state is either a natural growth or it is an emanation of some mysterious, primal force which we cannot understand. That, i think, is the central doctrine of the romantic movement. And naturally, it has its political analogue as well. The only weapon there is against death, for him, and against ossification, and against any form of hstabilization. This freezing of the life stream is by what he calls irony with capital eye.
