The Windsor framework sailed through the Commons with 515 votes for, and just 29 against. The timing of these two pivotal moments has served to highlight the demise of both the ERG and the man they once propelled to the highest office in the land. Nigel Farage tweeted it was the last throw of the dice for Euroscepticism in the Tory party. Others argue that weariness, along with the prospect of a general election next year, means some who did vote for the deal did so without really digging into the details. And far from being dead, the ERG's Deputy Chairman David Jones argues the group will now bide its time until problems become apparent.
