The Pursuit of a College Coaching Career
I was really just driven by personal stuff. I got to coach in three Olympic games. And we did well, you know, gold, middle and a silver medal. It's not like we were stinking it up. We could play and, and, and so I think when I was looking at the long term sustainability of that kind of lifestyle,. which at the time was demanding probably about 130 to 150 days on the road. He didn't want to raise them on FaceTime or Zoom or whatever. You know, I just, the goal was to always try and I know it's try to be number one dad, not number one coach.
