Is There Some Essence to Sexism?

The world is a very different place now than it was in the time samon de bavar wrigte. The problem in today's world, if there is one, is much more insidious. It exists in the minds of the voters and people that are at the head of industry or hiring for these fields. This creates a dynamic where you can go the rest of your life thinking the only reason you didn't get that job was because you were a woman.
