The Relationship Between Teller and Oppenheimer
During the war, there was tension because Teller was not a team player. He's a big idea, man. His calculations weren't too good. And he stuck to that super idea during the war,. And Oppenheimer wanted, I think, met a good management decision to keep him inside the tent rather than outside. The Langerians were creative. There were four of them that were called the men from Mars. They had had to fight their way to the modern physics without very many resources or without a tradition.
