The Principle of Synthetic Judgments
The distinction between analytic and synthetic judgments is that an analytic judgment, as he says, is like, amplative or clarifying. A priori doesn't require experience right? We don't need to actually encounter the world to know that this is true about a circle drawn in space. And if there's no self-knowledge by which we can analyze categories of nature, then God must be pretty much what she says they are. So with metaphysics you're not just talking about experience, but what here exceeds it.
