When I was growing up, I would idolize like Todd McFarland, all these guys. And then I realized like I just don't have that hand. Mike Mignola is one of my favorite artists because of this very thing. He found a way to distill his art style and it became its own person. It's hard to teach but you can learn from your mistakes.
