In the year two thousand cause there was this whole crash of the dot coms. And evan williams, who created a twitter and later odio and and a finally medium. He had riten a blog post called the end of free,. which was surprisingly influential, and it's now gone. But he wrote this very, very influential piece around then. There was this belief that evrything on the internet had to be free, but there doesn't actually have to be the case.
