The New Line Three Pipe Line in Minnesota Is a Big Deal
When finished, the new line three would ship 915 thousand barrels of tarsan's crude oil a day. People are continuing to try to stop construction through litigation or pressuring public officials. As protests have continued, the state response has grown more harsh. The most recent line three protesters who've gotten arrested for locking down on equipment are being charged with felony theft. This is from vice news. A canadian oil company has given minnesota law enforcement two million dollars to fund the policing protests against the construction of its new pipe line.
