AI and the Future of Humanity

I don't think so like I think a lot of people anthropomorphize AI too much. Because intelligence is such a unique human characteristic that it's hard to separate intelligence from our other, other characteristics. So we assign things like desire. And they confuse intelligent with a will to power. Well, the paperclip optimization problems are in the zeitgeist right now. Like, I don't see why some form of intelligence that's not human that could even like enact that sort of like master plan wouldn't be smart enough not not to do that.
