When we met, you were literally holding in your lap this old copy of the city of god by saint augustine. It was dog eared. And you were saying a that we're living in a very similar time to saint augus and the city ofgod. In what ways is that cultural moment similar to our own? Well, augustine was born in a in north africa in either three 54, o three 56. He became a christian. I'm rereading his book, the confessions, which is something i think every christian should read.
