The Relationship Between Dad and Neighbors

When i was maybe nine or ten, a young couple moved in to the almost directly behind our house. Our properties would kind of nudge up against each other. They both had white collared jobs, and i saw the wife from time to time. When he offered him a drink, my neighbor just looked right through my dad,. Almost as if he didn't see him.
