The Jordanian Pavilion at the World's Fair
The jordanian pavilion at the world's fair was a particularly unusual addition to the unofficial and incomplete league of tions that was to be here. Despite its almost alien appearance on the outside, curved and encrusted with gold mosaics, the pavilion was one of the most religious buildings at the fair. Sculptural displays of the stations of the cross by antonio saura decorated the exterior, and bright stained glass windows lit up dazzlingly at night. And visitors could shop at a jewelry bazaar or eat traditional middle eastern food in the snack shop.
