The Social Side of Running Is What I Love

If running is important to you then it's going to be a very strong threat response. One of the goals I often set myself before a race is smile and thank every marshal. We don't run to get a fast 10k we run for our mental health to have some thinking time to cope with stress, meet brilliant friends to stay fit and healthy. If we can start to almost measure the metrics differently and think about why we're running then actually we can measure them better.
