Are We Going to Have a Housing Crisis?
The global economy is moving into an inflationary environment rather than a deflationary or disinflationary environment. I wonder whether all of these things are just going to snap essentially and we're going to see a full-blown crisis. And if that does indeed happen, will it be contained within the financial sector or is it something where unregulated banks have been fooling around with taking on large amounts of leverage? The housing market has the potential to have a very negative effect on the financial sector and through that, the real economy.
