The Importance of a Therapeutic Relationship With a Suicide Survivor
Kan: We are legally mandated to do something when somebody is at risk of suicide. At risk meaning they might, there's imminent risk that they might attempt suicide. Things that are really, really helpful here are if we are just open and collaborative with the client as much as possible, tell them exactly what's going on. Kan: The longer you've worked with someone that's going through this, the better chance you have of having these conversations in advance.
