Hamilton 68 created hundreds of fake news stories, including smearing Tulsi Gabbard as an agent of Russian influence. There were a handful of people at the time who said this was suspicious but no one demanded it be investigated. This shows how little curiosity or pride there is at these organizations, says John Avlon. He adds that Twitter's job is not to give us accurate news; they should have known better.
