Do SaaS Companies Really Standardize Their Metrics?
A lot of the problem is that we're starting with source. Even the notion of DBT packages starts with source, and I think that's going to be a hard place to start. If you standardize exposures, you can standardize metrics. This frees up massive amounts of capacity for data teams. It accelerates the build out of things like the dashboard tree tremendously allows them to go up the value chain.
