The fourth biggest mistake that i see doctor's making is working with a restricted financial adviser. There are effectively two types of financial advisers out there - independent and restricted. A restricted adviser has restrictions in what they can and can't recommend, and often it's quite a limited range. And therefore the advice that you receive from an estricted adviser has good potential to be less good.
