Clodius's Body Is Burnt Down
Cicero wrote a speech against his sister clodia, with whom he was considered to be far too close. He also writes this speech defending milo later in which he portrays clodius as being venal, corrupt and low class. But from the popular perspective, he is somebody who instituted the corn dole so that nobody will ever have to go hungry in rome again.
