The Big Point of the Exodus

When i am sick of saying it, then our leaders have just started to get it. The big point in the exodus was not the slavery that they were delivered out of but knowing god. In churches like ours, we often do a pretty good job of talking about what jesus has saved us from sin. What we don't do a really good job oftalking about is what jesUS has saved us unto knowing god. That's why the lord's prayer isn't 'get us out of here' It's "maye the kingdom come on earth like it is in heaven"
