I think the reason they were talking about closing is, you know, the site has a lot of very specific processes and tools. And once you've laid off all the people who know how to maintain that, all of a sudden, it's quite hard to keep it online. I suspect simply the fact that they decided to lay off all of the developers, meant that keeping it online wasn't really feasible. There isn't anyone else within Amazon who knows how to operate, deep review well enough to even keep it ticking over. So my understanding is there were archiving plans in place.
