Is There a Difference Between Laughter and Sarcasm?
Most sarcasm isn't actually so funny that it makes you laugh. So I think sarcasm is closer to exaggeration. And we can understand it may be better as exaggeration. There's this widespread tendency to try to pick straw man's to knock down. But there is an acceptance for that.
