Coffee Break French
00:00
Introduction
In french, holiday is una fete in te fet in fet. The word tet f e, circumflex, t e can sometimes help you work out the meaning of the word. In older french, that would have been written f e s t e. And it starts to look more like the english word fist because the two words are related back in history. New year's day is le joure, le jure, de lan, de lang and joi es. Does that sound like any words in english? Sounds a lote. That like joyful.
