Bettner broke his femur in a motocross race that he shouldn't have been racing. "I wanted to be like my terminator's sister," says Bettner, who now works as an engineer at ECU. He is still limping eight months after breaking his leg and putting a rod in it. The 18 Delta course was the first time Bettner had ever ridden motorcycles.
