The Standard Library Is a Double Age Sword
The standard library is kind of a double age sword. It's also some of the oldest Go code and has some inconsistencies. You'll always find an example in there that supports your whatever argument you want to make. And I'd love to see more conversations along these lines too, because I still struggle with kind of package layout. Like at what point do I split things up into separate packages? When do I kind of make sub packages?"
