I had two positions that were I think I was well intentioned but had a blind spot when I used to run events 15 years ago my rule was it has to be the CEO. Now if you do that in technology there are very few females running companies and there aren't like Kim Polisi, Meg Whitman or Marissa Mayer. The post that they put up although it read kind of pro forma said "we're committed to diversity" It's not good for an industry in which you want everyone to adopt it. We can make forward progress on these things without canceling each other out.
