What Surprise You When You Go Into Management?

I went into management twice and the first time I had no idea what I was doing. The second time, I feel like I had a better idea of what performing well in that job would mean. It's actually a way smaller team too, which maybe had an effect on it. That does make a big difference. If it's like 5% you could do a lot better. Yeah. You can't know until you try it, I think.
