Is It the First Time That the Government Has Used Brutal Deadly Force Against Protesters?
The government has used brutal deadly force against protesters. But the thing that distinguishes this time around I think is that because it's consisted of small scattered gatherings and gestures all around the country, it is very hard to repress meaningfully. So what the government has been doing instead has been to target usual suspects in their own eyes - but not in reality.
