Cicero was a member of the Equestrian class, which later evolved into knighthoods. He studied every Greek master that he could and read every book to use power in society. His nickname for a while was "the Greco," meaning soft because he was Greek. Cicero had some pretty bad political inclinations but ultimately let it lend itself to his execution.
