My Dad's Misery Memoir
The book is not one of those misery memoir things, but there is a lot of sadness in it. My dad was adopted by this middle-class family who had a lovely home in Clontath. He told me he used to mitch school on his bike and just ride down onto the beach in Dolly Mountain,. Lydair smoking at age 13 with all his books... And I just think maybe there was something broken in him way before.
