What Do Black Hole Collisions Look Like?
The particles that feel the strong force, like corks and gluons, have so many more varieties. So what does a black hole look like in our detector? Atern it looks like seven or ten streams of particles all coming out of the centre of the collision. Most likely what you're going to see is a big spray of corks andgluons that fly out. But we can't specifically say this was a black hole or that was a blackhole. All we can do is say,Look, we see more of these collisions that lead to ten or 12 sprays of particles than we expected from non black hole sources. We think we're making black holes because we
