The Blood-Red Love of Amitabha
Though still in training he has committed himself so deeply that when he encounters just for a moment his own despair and feeling of uselessness it cracks him open. He is totally vulnerable with no guarantee of any help being available. And who does he call on for help? The Buddha of Love. Through that blood-red love of Amitabha the shattered fragments of Avli Kiteshva's body are fashioned anew, Amitabha fashions him anew. It also seemed to me that it was not just significant for us individually as we crash and burn either publicly or privately. I thought it was also significant and relevant for us as we look back over our experience of the last fifty years
