The Importance of Keeping a Record of Your Decisions

I want to have an email where I can kind of point to and say later on, I was not involved in this. It boiled down to me saying, hey, I'm not going to build this. You can ask somebody else to build it. But I want to have it on record. And that is also what happened. Like we basically got like some something in written form. In this case, it was just an email, right? Like I'll follow my boss. Never came anything out of it. It was this wasn't brilliant.
