The Power of Donkeys
How do donkeys and horses get on? Reasonably well, but they are very different. My grandfather had a donkey called his nibs - he was an excellent donkey. He said you should have a donkey in with the horses, because the donkey would keep the peace. That was a good way of managing the herd dynamics. Donkeys are territorial animals, so they will take that chance.
