Do Not Marry Someone Who's Divorced

Timothy Stanley: We read things in the gospels that are really hard to deal with. He says Jesus said, don't get divorced and if you marry someone who's divorced, you're going to be getting adultery. Stanley: Many of the sayings that I think I might understand that don't seem that hard actually become deeper and even more powerful when I do realize cultural context. The Bible seems like we have less patience with the Bible than other people for it to pass through our first pass," he says.
