The idea is that this marker that has been sort of transforming people into these monsters also makes them go crazy, dude. The way that they have sort of integrated it into the game experience itself is really something else. I was shocked to see a game like this do that. It's a good solution for older games too, because the self-harm of stuff in this game sucks, it doesn't need to be there anyway.
