The Future of Time Travel

We looked for mentions of Comet Ison before Comet Ison was named, couldn't find one. And when we look through the Twitterverse for Pope Francis, we found nothing before a certain date and then lots of stuff. So based on that, we were not seeing any evidence of backwards time travel on the Internet. Which doesn't mean that it can't happen. It's just that if it had happened in these two verifiable ways, we didn't find it. Do you think time travel into the past is still possible? Is it possible? I'm skeptical. But it is not fully ruled out by the laws of physics at this point.
