The Effects of Endurance Training on Testosterone Levels

The study looked at 21 high level male runners in Spain. They were doing 53,000 meters a week for 12 weeks and then they taper to 13,000 meters per week. There was no change in testosterone levels during either phase of the training. And so all this says to me is that even when you're preparing for race over the course of a year, highly trained endurance athletes don't really change.
