Mixing Bloom on Day

Peter Hook had an idea to turn a beat generator into what fans might recognise as a song. During some downtime in the studio, Peter Carter filmed on the telly for a few dollars more. What captivated him most was any or more a corny soundtrack to the film - particularly the distinctive bass line. It gave it a melodic content that once you put the vocal on it, it became a song. Nowadays, it would take you about five minutes on a laptop to knock up bloom on day.
