Preemption - Is Section 230 a Good Idea?
Section 230 protects you when you retweet something, but by the logic of the fifth circuit, because of that fact, the government can tell you what you have to retweet. So there is Texas using section 230 as a sort; bear in mind, section like Texas does not like section 230. They say, oh, you know, its protection shows that we can tell youwhat to say, including what you amplify. But it's narrower than that. It doesn't protect what you amplify from liability. Do with that what you will.
