Boris Karlof and the Old Footed From the Terror
Director peter bagdonovitch was inspired by Charles whitman's killing spree. He wanted to make a film that would still feel modern and appropriate for drive in movie theatre. The culture had changed significantly in just the four years since karlof had shot the terror before the beetles had come to america. By early 19 67, when bag donnovitch was preparing to shoot what would become targets, the beetles had released sergeant pepper's lonely hearts club band.
