The learning theory says the more different sensory modalities involved, the better you'll remember. Ginger: We are going to be a species that is dependent on the screen. The mittoric aspect of note taking gives them an extra piece of information for memory consolidation. I've decided just about to give up ebooks unless it's just a novel and don't care that I'm not gonna remember any of it.
