The Different Types of VCs

I think there's a misperception among many entrepreneurs that VCs are homogenous. They're very, very different. You should be able to discover that through their historical experience and their historical perspective. Any VC who says I'm a value-added investor almost by definition is probably not a value- added investor. So it's more the question of what's important to you in terms of the creation of your business than anything else.
