The Importance of Sola Fide

For a thousand years, the church said you're justified because at to the degree you are sanctified. Trent says by grace and cooperation with grace. So when we say they teach justification by works, that's an inference. We're right about that, but that's not the language they use. That's why sola fide is so important. And that's an acid test when you're talking with people.
