The Problem of Sample Bias in Anthropology

There's a problem of being invalidated by anthropology. And all the time, this is because of sampling bias. Usually in psychology, what people are doing is they're testing Western populations. You can even do it with an older person who isn't literate or you do it with someone who isn't well-educated and then you get different results. So I really feel that it will give us more of a sense of the parameters of humanity... It gives us a sense of why we're strange. We can start to see, oh, we are weird. Okay. Well, those things we thought were normal are actually super weird.
